Our Philosophy

I believe true health is simple.

In a world that encourages us to constantly do more, be more, and chase more, I believe healing often begins by stripping things away. Slowing down. Becoming present. Returning to what is essential.

The present moment holds the wisdom we so often search for elsewhere. When we become quiet enough to truly listen, the body begins to speak. Every ache, emotion, and symptom carries a message - not something to fear, but something inviting us back into balance.

I believe every person has an innate capacity to heal. The body is always seeking harmony. Our role is not to force healing, but to create the conditions where it can naturally unfold.

Healing, however, is only the beginning.

As our bodies become healthier and our minds become quieter, we create space for something even greater: joy, purpose, and authentic expression. I believe we are all creators. When we reconnect with our true nature and live from the heart, we begin creating lives that reflect who we really are. It is here that we come closest to our divine selves.

Nature continually reminds us of this truth. A tree whose branches are weak or withering rarely has a problem in the branches themselves. The health of the tree begins in its roots.

We are no different.

When we are deeply rooted - grounded in our bodies, connected to the Earth, and aligned with what truly matters - our health, relationships, and lives naturally begin to flourish.

At Divine Parallel, my intention is not simply to relieve symptoms, but to help people reconnect with the wisdom already within them, cultivate strong roots, and create a life of greater presence, vitality, and purpose.

Because our connection to Heaven is only as deep as our roots in the Earth.

What Qigong Means to Us

“I can't fully explain Qigong, but I can tell you what it has given me.”

People often ask me, “What is Qigong?” To me, Qigong is movement. It is breath. It is structure. But it is also so much more than that. The more I try to explain it, the more I feel like I'm trying to put something limitless into a box.

What I can do is tell you what it has given me, and what I've witnessed it give to so many others.

Qigong has given me a deep sense of peace. More importantly, it has taught me how to cultivate and hold that peace, even in the midst of a busy and demanding world.

It has given me confidence in who I am. It has helped me live more from my heart, trust more deeply in life, and begin to discover who I truly am beyond the noise, conditioning, and limitations of the mind.

Through this practice I have learned to work with Qi - the life force that flows through all living things. As my awareness of this life force has grown, so too has my awareness of myself.

Perhaps the greatest gift Qigong has given me is presence. For many years I struggled to truly be here. Through these simple practices I learned not only how to heal, but how to listen. I became more aware of my body, my thoughts, my emotions, and the subtle signals that tell me when I am moving out of balance.

Because of that awareness, I now have the tools to gently regulate myself and return to balance. Qigong has taught me that our bodies are always communicating with us - we simply need to slow down enough to listen.

I believe this is why Qigong is needed now more than ever. Our minds are constantly being pulled in every direction, yet our greatest wisdom is found in presence.

Qigong doesn't give us something we don't already have. It helps uncover what has always been there beneath the noise.

I truly believe Qigong can benefit anyone. Whether you're a professional athlete, a business owner, a parent, a student, or someone simply searching for greater peace, these practices have a way of bringing forth the best parts of who you already are.

This is why I live by these practices. They have given me more than I could ever put into words, and it is a privilege to share them with others.

Meet Cam

Cam MacIntosh founded The Divine Parallel to share a practice he has spent his life refining. What began as a personal search for balance became a way of guiding others toward the same.

He leads with patience and presence - holding space for whatever you bring, and trusting the body to do what it has always known how to do.
